A hauntingly atmospheric variant cover rendered almost entirely in deep midnight blue! Batman looms large from the darkness — cowl and cape swallowing the frame — only the glint of the golden Bat symbol on his chest catching any light — his face obscured in deep shadow — the faintest suggestion of Gotham's skyline barely visible below — mist and darkness dominating the entire composition. Moody, cinematic, and completely distinctive. One of the most striking variants of this beloved Tim Burton-era continuation series.
A great pick for Batman '89 collectors, Sam Hamm and Joe Quinones fans, and anyone who loves a bold, dark atmospheric variant cover. A natural Halloween shelf pick too.
