A bold, maximalist, McFarlane-homage cover packed with energy and detail! A tall, powerfully posed blonde woman fills the centre of the frame — wild golden hair cascading behind her — dressed in a form-fitting star-spangled outfit — deep navy blue with white stars scattered across every surface — a matching wide-brimmed star-covered wizard hat tilted on her head — one arm raised with a glowing wand in hand — a burst of white light at its tip — the other hand gripping a mass of thick heavy chains — the chains wrapping and coiling around her and the dark winged shapes flanking her on both sides — large dark bat-like wings or cloaked figures looming at the edges — all set against a deep warm orange-red glowing background. Signed in the lower left corner: Biggs ‘21 — After McFarlane. DRACULINA in large chunky purple-outlined white block letters blazing across the top. Dynamite and Rated Teen+ banners at the upper left.
A great Halloween shelf pick and collector’s piece for Dynamite Entertainment fans, McFarlane art homage collectors, and vampire/horror enthusiasts. Homage copy. Light wear, good shape.
