A masterfully composed, tension-filled horror cover! A teenage boy and girl are pressed flat against a massive ancient stone wall — both wide-eyed and rigid with terror — the boy in a yellow-tan shirt clutching the girl’s arm — she in a red top — dark hair wild — mouth open in a silent scream — and looming across the entire upper portion of the cover — the enormous shadow of a monstrous creature cast across the textured stone — massive horned silhouette with clawed limbs stretching wide — ancient carved hieroglyph-like figures and a small demonic idol barely visible in the warm amber stone. Signed by the artists in the lower right corner. Beautifully crafted by the Vokes/Freeman team.
A great pick for Fright Night run collectors, Vokes art fans, NOW Comics enthusiasts, and horror comics collectors. A perfect Halloween shelf pick. Light wear consistent with age.
