A stunning, painterly cover packed with dark cinematic tension! Two figures stand back to back at the upper centre of the frame — both battered and blood-soaked — hands clasped together between them — forming a heart shape framed against a massive glowing crimson red heart behind them — the deep red filling the entire upper background like a wound — NIGHT blazing in bold black letters above and PEOPLE in dark blue below — and beneath the two figures — filling the lower half of the cover — a massive defeated creature — dark grey-blue hide — enormous slack limbs — head turned sideways — dead or dying — one figure grips a long knife at their side — dark, warm flames visible at the edges. Romantic, brutal, and completely distinctive.
A great pick for Oni Press fans, crime and horror readers, and anyone who loves a strikingly original painted cover with bold visual storytelling.
