A sweeping, cinematic Secret Invasion tie-in cover with extraordinary painterly craft! A massively imposing figure in deep crimson red armour dominates the upper centre of the frame — towering above everything — broad-shouldered and menacing — a long dark cape billowing back — both arms slightly raised with clawed gauntleted hands reaching outward — the face angular and alien — red-skinned — eyes cold and commanding — and below this figure — scattered across the lower half of the cover — three human-sized heroes thrown violently to the ground — bodies tumbling and recoiling — partially obscured in swirling white mist and smoke — the entire palette a rich deep crimson, purple, and cool silver-white. Powerful, cinematic, and beautifully rendered.
A great pick for Secret Invasion story arc collectors, Bendis-era Avengers fans, and early-2000s Marvel completists. Light wear consistent with age.
