“Revealed at Last! The Awesome Origin of Odin!”
Condition: pre-owned, light wear consistent with age
A dramatic and cosmically charged bronze age cover featuring two generations of the gods of Asgard in one explosive composition! In the foreground: Odin commands the lower two-thirds of the cover — a massive, imposing figure in full Norse battle gear — deep brown and orange furred armour — a great horned and gold-trimmed helmet — long white beard and weathered face set with determination — one arm raised and thrusting forward a great battle axe — the other arm gripping a sword at his side — a gold medallion and chain belt at his waist — his entire form crackling with jagged yellow-green lightning energy radiating outward from his body. Behind and above him: Thor fills the upper right — recoiling backward in shock — one arm raised — Mjolnir in hand — face wide-eyed with alarm — winged helmet — red cape sweeping behind — deep purple cosmic void with dark asteroids and bright star-bursts behind. Thor inset box upper left. Spider-Man corner box lower left. CCA stamp upper right. THE MIGHTY THOR bold red and white masthead across the top. REVEALED AT LAST! THE AWESOME ORIGIN OF ODIN! red callout box lower right.
A great bronze age Thor pick for Odin story enthusiasts, Thor run collectors, and vintage Marvel fans. Light wear consistent with age.
