Special 300th Issue!
Condition: pre-owned, light wear consistent with age
A milestone bronze age issue celebrated with a cover that puts Thor front and centre in a feat of pure godly strength! Thor fills the lower centre of the frame — body straining with every muscle — face tilted upward with fierce determination — both arms raised gripping the leather strap of Mjolnir — the hammer enormous above him — a massive rectangular grey block with a bold brown circle at its centre — the weight driving downward as Thor strains to hold it aloft. Classic blue tunic and leggings — gold belt — golden striped boots — red cape swept behind — winged helmet. Surrounding him on all sides: a dense tangle of lime green vine-like organic forms ending in rounded humanoid heads — living plant creatures pressing in from every direction — some raising fists — others watching. A burst of white light radiates from behind Thor at the centre. THE MIGHTY THOR masthead in large white-outlined red letters. SPECIAL 300TH ISSUE! cover badge. The Toys R Us contest banner blazes across the top: WIN A TOYSʹRʹUS SHOPPING SPREE! GRAND PRIZE MINIMUM VALUE $3000! CCA stamp upper right. Thor corner box upper left.
A milestone bronze age Thor collectible — the 300th issue is always a landmark for run collectors. Great for Thor enthusiasts and vintage Marvel fans. Light wear consistent with age.
