🔑 First Appearance of Haley the Dog!
Condition: pre-owned, light wear, good shape

A charming, witty, and utterly joyful cover from Tom Taylor’s celebrated Nightwing run — the issue that introduced fan-favourite Haley the rescue dog! The composition is split into two panels stacked vertically, separated by a bold diagonal zigzag lightning bolt divider in red and cream. The upper panel: the action version — set against a warm deep crimson-red background with the diagonal city skyline framing the edges — Nightwing in his sleek black and blue suit — swinging on a thin bungee cord or leash from the upper left — body angled downward in a fast descent — face grinning with exhilaration — one hand gripping the cord and the other extended outward — and dangling below him on the same cord: Haley — a grey bulldog-mix rescue — mouth wide open in an excited bark — paws splayed outward — wearing a small harness — the two of them mid-swing together through the Blüdhaven skyline. The lower panel: the cosy contrast — a warm cream background — Haley curled up on a round grey dog bed — sleeping peacefully — a small toy car beside her — ZZZ lettering floating above in the characteristic sleep-bubble font. The DC logo at the upper left. NIGHTWING 78 in bold sidebar lettering at the lower left. TAYLOR • REDONDO • LUCAS credits below. 3RD PRINTING banner at the top. A modern DC classic.

A must for Tom Taylor Nightwing run collectors, Haley fans, and anyone who loves a cover that perfectly balances action and heart. 3rd Printing of this landmark first appearance issue. Light wear, good shape.
